Our carpets can be seen in major building developments in Australia and overseas. We are committed to product innovation and constantly track market trends so that we can inspire and supply the commercial sector with modern, hardwearing carpets.

With the most advanced carpet manufacturing technology in Australia, Godfrey Hirst manufactures carpets in a vast array of patterns, prints, blends, textures and colours in broadloom and modular (tile) form.

We have an extensive range of stock lines and specialise in the supply of custom carpets, including intricate patterns in modulated loops, graphic cut pile or cut-loop designs.

Godfrey Hirst Australia is committed to sustainable design solutions. Our objective is to minimise or eliminate all adverse impacts that the activities and products of the Godfrey Hirst Group may have on the environment, while remaining a competitive leader in the field of carpet manufacture. This includes a commitment to minimise pollution and seeking ecologically sustainable waste management systems.

All Godfrey Hirst Commercial products (modular and broadloom) are accredited for Green Star compliance by the Australian Carpet Institute’s Environmental Certification Scheme. The Environmental Certification Scheme (ECS) is a stringent, industry based, GBCA approved Third Party Certification body. Each individual commercial product is rated under the ECS and the test certificates are available for download below.

All Godfrey Hirst Modular products achieve ECS LEVEL 4 (GREEN STAR LEVEL A) CERTIFICATION giving the maximum 5 Credit Points on the MAT-2 Flooring Calculator 100% points.

Product Stewardship / End of Life
All Godfrey Hirst commercial products (broadloom and modular) are recyclable and qualify for take back at end of life on a project by project basis under the Godfrey Hirst Modular and Godfrey Hirst Broadloom Product Stewardship Programs. Contractual documentation is available through your commercial representative.

These are fully audited recycling processes within Australia. Godfrey Hirst guarantees that no commercial product under the product stewardship program will go to landfill at its end of life and, additionally, will not be shipped overseas for reprocessing.
