‘The N53 Refurbishment sought to reinvigorate an existing 1970’s building interior on the Griffith University’s Nathan Campus. The project incorporates a new integrated student services interface along with seminar, library and collaborative learning spaces.
The result is a visually enticing series of spaces with high durability to deal with the level of student traffic. The carpet tiles offered a modular design tool which was used as part of the way finding system and definition of different functions within the space. They also provided long lasting performance and ability for selective replacement as required.’ - Andrew Holmes of Phillips Smith Cornwell Architects.
