With the reveal of the entries, kitchen and dining areas we get a complete sense of the couples' overall design concepts. Whether they chose timber floors, laminate floors or bamboo floors, they each created completely different interiors showing how versatile hard flooring can be.
Brooke and Mitch
Brooke and Mitch have created a sleek, modern kitchen scoring the first perfect 10 for the season. Grounded by warm and textured timber floors, the couple introduced colour with their pendant lighting, artwork and light timber touches throughout.
They chose genuine timber flooring, engineered timber floorboards that are nice and wide with a matte finish. Our timber floors have superior stability and finished with a uniform wear resistant coating.

Cat and Jeremy
The beautiful, warm timber tones throughout and black accents in the appliances and fixtures made this a really lovely space. Choosing Godfrey Hirst laminate flooring was the perfect foundation for their almost complete white kitchen.
Laminate floors are perfect for this area, they realistically represent genuine timber flooring with grains and groves that you can feel. Features like the bevelled edge and the matte finish also give them that timber look at a more affordable price.
Sarah and Minanne
Sarah and Minanne finally scored a win with their kitchen and dining (even if only thanks to the other teams' disqualification). The simple entry was warmed by the timber-toned Laminate Flooring through to the kitchen/dining. Crisp and contemporary with black marble bench tops, black gloss overhead cupboards, and hexagonal tiled splashback, the kitchen blends seamlessly to the outdoor kitchen.
They chose the same flooring as Cat and Jeremy, a great example of how the same flooring can be used to create two completely different interior styles.
Jamie and Hayden
True to their style, Jamie and Hayden created an entry, kitchen and dining area that caused controversy with the judges. With dark timber toned bamboo flooring as their foundation, they repeated this shade throughout the custom MDF cabinetry. The judges thought the custom graffiti splashback was bold but did not suit the home.
