Yamba Project

Award-winning builder and designer Rachael Turner of Front Porch Properties has completed her latest project, a modern coastal renovation in the relaxed seaside town of Yamba, NSW. Designed as an investment property, the home needed finishes that were both stylish and practical, ready to withstand everyday life.

For the flooring, Rachael turned to a long-time favourite, Godfrey Hirst Metropol Oak in the colour 540 Bells Oak.

“I’m a big fan of Godfrey Hirst hybrid flooring — we’ve used it time and time again across our projects, and it never disappoints.”

Hybrid flooring was the perfect choice for this coastal home, offering both stylish design and durability. Waterproof and low-maintenance, this hybrid flooring is designed to handle sandy feet, spills, and high-traffic zones without losing its stylish finish. For Rachael, it was the ideal foundation to create a light, inviting interior that balances function with coastal charm.

Rachael’s Yamba renovation proves why hybrid flooring has become a go-to solution for both family homes and investment properties: beautiful, durable, and built for real life.
