The final reveal episode of Kyal and Kara's Long Jetty renovation series has landed.
The dynamic duo have created a stunning Palm Springs inspired home that is all about light, space, and high ceilings, surrounded by cactus, palms and lush greenery, the former ‘little beach shack’ has been transformed into the ideal family home.
The highlight of this renovation is the light-filled sanctuary that Kyal and Kara have created in the open living, dining and kitchen area, a.k.a. the ‘hub of the home’. The use of soft whites against the beautiful natural textures of oak and rattan, along with pops of greenery create an inviting space that is perfect for entertaining, or relaxing at home with the family.
While there is so much to love in this light and airy space we can’t go past the Villa engineered timber boards that also carry on through to the study nook and master suite. The beautiful French Oak brings natural texture and grain to the floors and the Sand Drift colourway works perfectly with the beachy vibe of the space.
The breezy beach feel carries throughout the home in the bedrooms with wood panelling and plantation shutters that bring a quality look and feel along with gorgeous textured linen and artwork. The textured Hycraft Ravine carpet in Oatmeal ties the whole look together from the bedrooms to the media room. The soft, 100% wool carpet is luxurious enough to suit bedrooms and boasts an ACCS Residential Extra Heavy Duty rating, making it ideal for busier foot traffic.
The finished result is a beautiful beach house that anyone would be happy to call home. Watch the entire Long Jetty series here, and stay tuned for the auction results.
