BuildHer - South House

The BuildHer Collective empowers and supports women with the tools to build or renovate their dream home. Running intensive workshops, Masterclass programs, online courses, blogs and podcasts, founders Rebeka Morgan and Kribashini Hannon, harness both personal and professional experiences which they enjoy sharing.

For her own home, Rebeka designed an architecturally diverse, sustainable home that showcases a clear, flowing floorplan, that emphasises natural sunlight, reinforced with quality materials, fixtures and fittings. 

Set behind a curved facade, premium Hycraft wool carpets, were installed throughout the second-floor hallway and each bedroom. Montrose, a rustic chunky loop carpet with a pebbled effect, adds handcrafted charm to the contemporary aesthetic. While the neutral tones of Wellington, offers a balanced, pale interior décor which has been accented with darker timber joinery.  

Naturally insulating, noise reducing and soft underfoot, Montrose is made from 100% wool. An environmentally sustainable choice, this carpet is stain resistant and incredibly resilient, making it the perfect choice for busy family homes.
