TIME•RONE – Art Gallery of Western Australia
TIME•RONE is a highly anticipated art installation that is set to open its doors once again, this time at the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA). This immersive art experience transports visitors to a moment of suspended time, where they can truly indulge in the memories of mid-century Australia.
We were delighted for the custom carpets produced for the original TIME•RONE Flinders St Melbourne installation to be reused in the AGWA installation that creates a sense of continuity between the two exhibitions. Rone explored various carpet designs that paid homage to the 1950-60’s era. Using our Designer Jet® technology through GH Commerical, Rone was able to achieve the pattern, colour and texture desired to represent the spirit of Melbourne’s industrial past. Godfrey Hirst also supplied the laminate floor, Amor Classic in colour 580 Ancient Oak.
The installation will be open to visitors from June 28th to 30th September, with 12 unique spaces to explore, including one new space exclusive to the AGWA installation, visitors can expect to be fully immersed in the experience. In addition to the immersive art experience, TIME•RONE is expanding to offer an intimate dining experience that is exclusive to the Art Gallery of Western Australia installation. This presents a unique opportunity for visitors to indulge in a culinary experience that is truly one-of-a-kind. TIME•RONE at AGWA promises to be a must-see event this winter!
