    The waterproof core is engineered to be inherently waterproof, made from a dense, non-porous material that does not absorb moisture. <p>The wear layer is a clear coating that helps to maintain the original appearance of your floor, protecting against scratches and general wear and tear. It also makes your floor easier to clean and maintain.</p>

<p>The thickness of wear layers is measured in millimetres, and indicates the level of protection. A commercial grade 0.55mm wear layer can withstand extra heavy traffic perfect for all areas of a busy home and is also suitable for most commercial applications.</p>

<p>Our goods come with warranties that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.</p>
 
<p>In addition, Godfrey Hirst products come with a range of performance warranties for hard flooring when used in an owner occupied residential premises, tailored to the specific product and its attributes.</p>
