<p>A renewable material, wool is shorn from sheep every 9-12 months and produced by sheep consuming a totally renewable resource - grass.<p>
<p>As a natural resource, wool fibre is biodegradable. When wool fibre is disposed of, it will naturally decompose in soil in a matter of months or years, slowly releasing valuable nutrients back into the earth.<p>

<p>Through the PEFC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification, Responsible Wood (the national governing body for PEFC in Australia) promote best practice throughout the entire supply chain to make certain all products from forests are produced to the highest ecological, cultural, ethical and environmental standards.
